What's at Stake for Women & Families in the November Election?

Come to an issues forum sponsored by the Fredericksburg Area Democratic Women's Caucus.

When: Sunday, October 12, 2000 from 2 PM - 4 PM

Where: Porter Library, 2001 Parkway Blvd., Stafford, VA

Directions: From I-95, Take Garrisonville Exit; Go West on Route 610 to Parkway Blvd. at the traffic light; Turn left; Follow to library on left.

The speakers include Bill Day, Candidate for Congress, and:

EDUCATION - Dr. Deborah Brock, Interim Director Virginia Commonwealth University's L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs

PLANNED PARENTHOOD - Lauren Bull, Associate Director of Advocacy for Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, D.C.

HEALTH CARE - Marianna Bedway, Vice President of Clinical Support Services, Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg

The Stafford Democratic Committee has received a large number of requests for Obama/Biden, Warner and Day Yard signs. In order to more effectively process your request, please fill out the form here.

We will contact you when they become available with instructions on how and where to pickup your sign(s). Due to high demand, we are limiting each household to 1 sign. We will process your request on a first come, first served basis and while supplies last.

Obama/Biden signs will be available starting Sunday, October 5, 2008.

In an unprecedented move and a clear demonstration of the seriousness with which Stafford, Virginia is being taken, the Obama campaign will be opening a SECOND office in Stafford County this Saturday! The Grand Opening and Kickoff Canvass will be taking place this Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 9:45 AM.

The North Stafford office is located at:

(It is a couple hundred yards south of Courthouse and Route 1 - on the right hand side driving south)
